This is a very rare item.

This listing is for a set of two 1950s French Army canvas cases, also usable as small item pouches. These are believed to be post-World War II items. Made in France, deadstock, unused condition.

The same HBT (herringbone twill) fabric used in the later M-47 cargo pants and jackets is used. True to the French Army items of the time, the supplier's stamp is also present.

The case opens and closes by tying and untying the attached string.
Please note that the color of the string may vary, and you cannot choose the color; it will be selected at random.

The shape is very similar to an old-fashioned simple wallet, and I tried putting in some banknotes. A 1000 yen bill fits without folding. A 5000 yen bill just barely fits without folding.

As mentioned above, it can be repurposed as a long wallet, but please note that the case itself does not have the same core material as a typical leather long wallet.

Conversely, because it lacks a core material, it fits well in the back pocket of your pants, allowing you to sit comfortably. It's thin and doesn't get in the way.
Coins will likely spill out if you put them in.

It can also be repurposed as a protective pouch for your smartphone inside a bag.

In addition, you can use it creatively as a pen case, glasses case, etc.
